Seed Dressing has been enhanced to have a form of location control at a Bulk Level. Here's how to set it up and use it...

Seed Dressing has been enhanced to have a form of location control at a Bulk Level. At present, there is a hard-coded definition of Silo but this is any form of location and will be changed to be a heading in the future.

Note: You will have to be on synergy build 356 or higher to allow activation of this module.  It will have to be activated in Synergy back office before you will see it accessible in Seed Dressing.  Tables are modified and created as part of this upgrade.

1. Activate the Module in Synergy Back Office

2. Open Seed Dressing via shortcut and allow the upgrade to take place

3. On the Menu Below click on Setup Menu

Click on Seed Dressing Setup	1.Tick this to make location mandatory  2.Radio button to control if containers or bulk is the default. If 1 is ticked then choose Bulk.
Click on Silo Setup	Add all the Storage Locations that will be used, you can deactivate a location so that it can’t be used. Each location is given a name
	Bulk Locations are viewable on a seed line by clicking on the
Click on the View Bulk Locations button

On this screen you get to view the total in the location at the top and click on each location to view the transactions that make it up.

 

From the History button you can also view the report that makes up the history of this seed line. On here you get to view what locations the seed has been moved about in and print this if needed.

Receive Stock

When stock is received there is the ability to receive to a bulk location. If Bulk is chosen then the dropdown list contains the silo’s setup.

Adjustments – either Despatch or Receive has the ability to receive to a bulk location. If Bulk is chosen then the dropdown list contains the silo’s setup.

Transfer – when seed is transferred from one owner to a new owner then it is taken out of the silo and put back into the same silo at present by selecting the silo that the seed belongs to.

Split Line – this is the ability to split the one line into different lines, if the seed it in a bulk location then it will be shifted from this location.

Silo Reports

There is a summary and detail report and these are accessed via the Silo Reports on the Reports menu

Summary Report – run by date range and gives the silo and the quantity on hand, as this site is also a storage only site there are additional grain stats showing as in the Protein and Falling no.

Detailed Report – Select the location(s) that you want to view (double click to move to the right or select all) with a date range.  The report will show all the detail movements in and out of that location.
