Free Centralised Documents Module
Support & Maintenance Plan customers will now have free access to the centralised documents module. This module enables you to attach images & files to clients, vehicles, invoices, products and suppliers.
This is useful for attaching original copies of supplier invoices, attaching photos of work undertaken on vehicles, attaching signed quotes to jobs or account application forms to client accounts etc.

Email - SendGrid
New SendGrid solution developed for emailing, to provide a simpler and more reliable solution for sending email from Synergy, as an alternative to SMTP or relaying via Outlook.
Configuring SMTP settings can be complex and confusing, often requiring you to contact your email service provider to confirm requirements, and they can change their requirements without notice which can stop your program sending emails correctly.
SendGrid simplifies the configuration of email in Synergy, not requiring you to configure the SMTP details of your email service provider.
SendGrid is exclusively available to customers on a current Support and Maintenance Plan (SMP).

SMS Messaging API
We have added a new option to our SMS setup, to enable you to send SMS messages through our new SMS API, instead of the prior method relying on email to relay SMS messages. The new API is faster and more reliable as it avoids the risks associated with email such as SPAM blacklisting etc.
If you’re already using SMS, we recommend you change to this new method to improve your SMS functionality, by following the instructions on our SMS setup knowledgebase article:

System Audit Log
The system audit log will record and present critical system actions and changes, such as the deletion of Saved Invoices (work in progress), Month End Rollovers etc. Further system changes will be added to this audit log over time, to add value and traceability of changes made to the system.
