Synergy has a built-in utility to reprice products in bulk, by group or category. Pricing can be increased by a set dollar amount or by a percentage.
IMPORTANT: We would strongly recommend you undertake a full system backup prior to making a bulk change such as this, as there us no 'UNDO' option once you have finalised the process.
To find the Bulk Price Change utility go to Company/Setup and Select Bulk Price Change:
This will load a list showing any prior "bulk price change" operations that have been run in your system:
On this screen simply click 'Change Inclusive Price' if you want the price recalculation to be based off your GST inclusive pricing, or choose 'Change Exclusive Price' to base the repricing on GST exclusive pricing.
Then the following screen will open:
Here you select the group of products you wish to reprice (you can click the highlighted 'Use Categories' tickbox if you want to filter the list by Category).
You can then individually tick the 'Selected' box to select the products you wish to reprice, or use the Select All button at the bottom to select all of the currently listed products.
Click Continue to progress to the next screen:
On this screen, you specify if you want to change the price By Percentage or By Amount. The Round Inclusive Price is an option to simply round the GST Inclusive Pricing of the selected products.
Use the tickboxes to specify which of your Price Levels you want the repricing to be applied to.
When you're ready, click the Change Price button to finalise the repricing procedure. This will instantly apply the new pricing to all of the products you have selected and generate a report to outline the changes that have been made.
