With Synergy Auto Shop, from time to time you may have multiple instances (duplicates) of the same vehicle in your database. This can arise in data upgraded from old versions, or registration changes (e.g. a car gets a custom plate and added into your system, however, it was already in there under a prior rego).
This can often be tidied up using the Merge Vehicles function, which will copy all the 'service history' records from one vehicle into another, and discontinue the vehicle you're merging from.
IMPORTANT: Use this feature with caution, as this process cannot be undone. We highly recommend performing a backup before running this process, just in case you make a mistake.
Navigate to Company/Setup > Accounts Receivable > Merge Vehicles:
This will open the following window:
You will then see the following confirmation, clicking 'Yes' will finalise the process:
