Introduction – Analysed Purchases Integration

 

Synergy POSLink and PumpLink feature the ability to send sales information to card providers.

This includes odometer readings and types/categories of products sold.

 

System requirements

  1. A VAULT eftpos terminal (see [Synergy] Vault Eftpos Integration)
  2. Synergy version 376 or greater
  3. Latest POS version 18.05 (dated 2019/04/10) or greater

 

Setting up Analysed Purchases Integration

 

To use Analyse Purchases you must have the Custom Module “Analysed Purchase Integration” turned on.

 

To do this go to File > Activate Custom Modules and enter the code supplied, when this is done a new button called “AP Code Setup” will be available in the product list.

 

The Product list can be accessed by either Accounts Receivable > Products or Stock Control > Products

Setup Analysed Purchase Codes

 

 The list at the bottom is a list of all products currently assigned to the selected Analysed Purchase code.


The Remove Product button will remove the current highlighted product from the selected Analysed Purchase code

  

Select the Analysed Purchase Code first, then select the method you are adding the products to the code, either by Group, Category or Individual

 

Add by Group

Select the Analysed Purchase Code first, then select Add by Group

This will add stock items to the Analyse Purchase Code selected by Group:

  • Select the existing Synergy Group
  • A list of all products in the Synergy group will display
  • Select the Individual items by ticking them
  • Click Select All if you wish to select and add all items to the Analysis Code


Once you have selected all the products you wish to add click on Save after which there will be some confirmation windows.


Add by Category


Similar to Add by Group, Add by Category will enable you to add a smaller selection of products.

  • Select the Analysed Purchase Code first, then select Add by Category
  • Select the Group on the right then your desired Category
  • All products belonging to the selected category will be displayed
  • Select the Individual items by ticking them
  • Click Select All if you wish to select and add all items to the Analysis Code

 Once you have selected all the products you wish to add click on Save after which there will be some confirmation windows.

 

Add Individual Product

Select the Analysed Purchase Code first, then select Add individual Product

  • Select the Individual items by ticking them
  • Click Select All if you wish to select and add all items to the Analysis Code

  

Once you have selected all the products you wish to add click on Save after which there will be some confirmation windows.

 

Confirmation Window

If some products have been already Selected against another code you will get the following warning:

 

If any of the products are already part of another Analyse Purchase code then you will receive this warning.

 

After the warning a report will show all the stock items that will need to be removed and which code they are part of.

 

 

Any items in this list WILL NOT BE Selected as part of the Analyse purchase code

 

You will get the confirmation window after this – this is only for the items NOT in the report above

 

Products NOT assigned to a code

 

As per the message in the Setup Analysed Purchase Codes, any products not assigned to a code will be assigned to the default Analysed Purchase Code of 98

 

 

POS Sales

With Analysed Sales turned on there are further prompt windows that will pop up if the cards require odometer readings entered i.e. Starcard.
