Process of Entering a New Product Key
You will be emailed a new product key from Synergy if you purchase modules, change a company name or remove a module. Occasionally we will send you a new product key to change from one version to another. In these situations you need to install the new product key.
Click File -> Enter Product Key
Company Name: If you have changed company name enter here.
Product Key: Please key in the number supplied from Synergy.
Click Save.
Click OK and close down your Synergy program. Once you open your Synergy Program again, you will have the changes that the product key was supplied for, a new module, a new version, a new company name.
Note: Many addon modules also require reactivation if your company name is changed when changing your product key These include, but are not limited to, Timeclocking, Support Module, Eftpos and Fuel Card integrations. If you were not supplied new activation codes for your addons when the new product key was provided. Please contact the helpdesk to request them
Trouble Shooting
When opening Synergy should you get the message below, it indicates that you have entered either the company name or product key incorrectly or they were supplied incorrectly. Please try again and if no luck call the Synergy Helpdesk.
NOTE: Please do not tick the Start a 30 Day Grace Period.
