Set user access to different area's in Synergy

  1. Turn On Passwords within the System

Company/Setup -> General -> Set Passwords On or Off


Tick to turn passwords on if they are not already.  Setup the passwords on the users before exiting the system or you won’t be able to get back in.

Click Accept

 

2.Setup the Users to the appropriate area of the System

Company/Setup -> General -> User/Staff Maintenance


  



       

 

Note:  Anyone with a Tick under administrator has access to everything, you can’t restrict their access. 

Max Discount for Pos – this user can only give 10% discount at POS

POS Security Level – used in conjunction with the POS security to control feature in POS.

Click on Security Setup to get this view from a User who does not have Administrator ticked.  Now untick the features you do not want them to have.

 

Once unticked, click on Detail Setup to further restrict the entries.

Move to the right all the features you want to further block.  Click Save when you have finished.  This user will now only have access to the feature on the right-hand side if they also have the correct ticks in the screen above.
